Immediate Dentures
It is a denture that is placed immediately after the teeth are extracted. Patients are advised by the dentist or Oral Surgeon to have their teeth extracted and we will manufacture the dentures for them. We know how emotional this process can be and our clinicians will guide you through this challenging process to help reduce some of the stress. Importantly, we listen to you to create the desired smile. Our biggest advertisement is our patients and therefore it is absolutely critically that you are totally satisfied. These dentures will require a reline after 3-4 months.
Implant Dentures
At Damon Denture Designs we work closely with dentists to provide patients the option of having implants placed to secure their dentures. There is a choice of either fixed or removable appliances. The option that is most commonly selected by patient is to have two implants placed to secure the lower denture. This works out to be the most cost effective way to solve the problem of lower dentures that “Float” around in your mouth.
Partial dentures
These are removable dentures that are used to replace one or more missing teeth, when a fixed replacement like a bridge is not suitable. They come in a few different types, which are named after the main material that they are made out of. These are Chrome, Valplast and Acrylic.
Our clinicians will help you decide which is the best type for you.
These are the most inexpensive of three types, but also the most fragile. We recommend that you only go for this option if your remaining teeth are not in the best shape, and you expect to be losing more in the near future. This type of denture allows us to add additional teeth to it as you lose them. As they are made entirely of acrylic, they are thicker and weaker than Chrome partials, and we recommend that you wear these for no longer than 24 months. Small metal clasps may be added as needed to improve the fit of these partials.
